WHAT:
' Flowers by the Sea': A Standard Flower Show, presented by The San Dieguito Garden Club and Quail Botanical Gardens.

ABOUT SDGC:
Founded in 1960. It is a Federated club and member of the National Garden Clubs Inc, Palomar District. This will be SDGC's 17th Flower Show.

WHO:
You are invited to participate and attend the judged flower show at Quail Botanical Gardens. Entries are open to non-professional Horticulture and or Floral Design Exhibtors. Judging will be by Accredited judges from the National Garden Clubs Inc.

Friday, April 28th and Saturday, April 29th, 2006

Quail Botanical Gardens, 230 Quail Gardens Drive, Encinitas, CA

Schedule at a glance:

Friday, April 28th:
7:30 ­ 9:30am, Submit entries for judging at the Flower Show.
10:00am ­ 1:00pm, Official judging of entries
1:00 - 4:00pm, Show is open to the public, displays of Flower Show entries
9:00am - 5:00pm, Quail Gardens open to the public

Saturday, April 29th:
9:00am - 4:00pm, Flower Show open to the public
10:00am - Floral Design Demonstration to be held in the Lawn Room.
Space is limited. Please call 760-598-0786 for a reservation
12noon ­ 2:00pm, Children's Craft Competition in creative floral design.
4:00pm. ALL Entries must be picked up.

The Sale of plants, home baked goods and plant related items will be available both days.

Cost:
Free admission for flower show participants.
Saturday 29th: Children under 12 yrs, free admission with an adult.
General admission cost applies to view the Flower Show and Gardens: Adults
$8, Seniors $5, Children 3-12 $3 and children under 3 are free.
