- To be organized exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific
purposes and to coordinate and further activities of State Garden Clubs
and similar organizations both in the United States and foreign countries.
- To study and advance fine arts of gardening, landscape and floral
design and horticulture, including assistance to botanical gardens and
horticultural centers for the advancement of science and the enjoyment
and education of the public (offer courses, schools, certifications,
etc...).
- To aid in protection and conservation of natural resources, to promote
civic beauty and to grant gift scholarships to further horticulture
education, conservation and landscape design (roadsides, parks, playgrounds,
etc...).
- To cooperate with other public and private organizations in the furtherance
of these goals worldwide as well as in the United States (reforestation,
herb gardens for the blind, garden therapy for the infirm in or out
of facilities).
